Example 2 of hardcore punk music videos

'History is Bunk’ by the Hardcore Punk band Gnarwolves is a very DIY video. It was filmed on a phone by the drummer and was uploaded to (at the time) an unofficial YouTube channel.
This is DIY feel that the video gives off is a very conventional feel for the hardcore punk genre as most hardcore punk bands do their own stuff their own way resulting in random videos.
We also can’t tell who the vocalist is as all three of the band members in the video sing, which is fairly unconventional as they normally show who plays what.
The video is a disjunctive video, as it has nothing to do with a song. It was just filmed by the band in the room with them singing along. The lyrics are as follows:
Your boiling blood may run thicker than mine,

Your eyes may see through the bitterness in due time,

And I've lied in truth

Not the first time that I've lied to you

But I've been deliberately cruel this time

And that's not the same thing (Whoa)
It's not the same thing

This time I want to see you suffering x 2

You're boiling blood may run thicker than mine

The opening of the video contains a random 2-second skate clip. This is a disjunctive clip of the video and has no link to the song. However it links to both the band and the genre as Gnarwolves are a band known for their skating and hardcore punk contains a lot of skating references in songs and videos.

The following 2 screenshots are of the bands name and the release that the song ‘History is Bunk’ is featured on. This is conventional in a music video to say what the band and what the release are called however it’s unconventional not to put the name of the song.
It is also unconventional to put it on in a movie make style way, not more professional. However as the video isn’t a high-end video, it makes sense to not make the titles look professional.

The video is filled with close ups which is quite conventional in a music video. However it is filmed in 1 take, which is quite unconventional.
